The 28 Buddhas of the Buddhavaṃsa (බුද්ධවංසය)

The Buddhavaṃsa records 28 Buddhas across many kalpas. Vipassī is the first Buddha of the current cycle, but not the first Buddha ever remembered. Dīpaṅkara is especially famous for predicting Gautama’s future Buddhahood when he was the ascetic Sumedha.
